In my function as Regional Director Middle East and Africa I have a great team, and we are all part of the growing MC family. I’ve always had many opportunities to travel for work, to meet our partners and customers on site, and I’ve also had the chance to live abroad.
Before I moved to the current region I was in charge of our activities in Asia, and I have fond memories of my time there. The best memories are always related to relationships and people – whether in business or private life. During the years 2013 to 2020 Singapore, as my place of work, also became my second home, and both of my daughters were born there.
And when I think of flour and see the flour bags hanging in our FlourWorld Museum, I think back to those times and remember situations and people it was a pleasure working with, such as KK Lim of Prima Mills.
I still remember my first visit to Prima Mills, during which KK Lim and his team explained to me the history and the reach of their products and the company’s principles. Since I was new in Asia, I learned a lot from talking to people like KK Lim about what flour means in Asian culture.
Flour is life, and flour connects the world in a way nothing else can do.
