There are so many types and varieties of flour, and countless great recipes you can make from this wonderful raw material. Flour also means home to me. When I go into the mill and breathe in the smells of the mill and the flour, I feel at home.

Flour’s meaning for me is as varied as its uses. Flour doesn’t just unite tradition and modernity, it also unites people, in bakeries, in kitchens and at dining tables.
It makes me proud to be the CEO of Schapfen Mill, which has a long tradition of making flour and for generations has created and maintained jobs in our region.
